Biography: Sculpture. B.A., Dartmouth College; M.F.A., Cranbrook Academy of Art. Born in Trinidad and Tobago. Recent exhibitions at the Wan�s Foundation, Knislinge (Sweden); Studio Museum in Harlem; Whitney Museum of American Art at Altria; Busan Biennale, Busan (Korea); Yale School of Art Gallery; Laumeier Sculpture Park, St. Louis; and Mattress Factory, Pittsburgh. Her work has also been exhibited in Greater New York 2005, P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center, Queens; Socrates Sculpture Park and SculptureCenter, Long Island City; Contemporary Arts Museum, Houston; Soap Factory, Minneapolis; Glassell School of Art, Houston; Dallas Center for Contemporary Art; Pacific Northwest College of Art, Portland. Residencies include Studio Museum in Harlem and the Core Program. Reci-pient of the Louis Comfort Tiffany Biennial award (2003), grants from Creative Capital and New York Public Art Fund, and a space grant from the Marie Walsh Sharpe Art Foundation.Contact:
