Biography:

B.S., Ohio Northern University; Ph.D., University of Pennyslvania. Research associate and lecturer at University of Maryland. Recipient, Achievement Award for Distinguished Service to the University of Pennyslvania Chemistry Department (2005); Department of Education GAANN Fellowship (2002–04). Contributor to Organic Letters, Journal of Organic Chemistry, and other scholarly journals. At Bard since 2008.

• Research Interests: Synthesis of complex molecules; development of new synthetic methods
• Teaching Interests: Organic synthesis; physical organic chemistry; biomimetic chemistry
• Other Interests: Photochemistry; organometallics
