2025 Enrichment Programs
Bard College enrichment programs offer high school students the opportunity to explore different areas of study and learn about different disciplines while traveling with Bard instructors and seeing the world through multiple academic lenses.
The student-instructor ratio for these programs is 6:1, so each student gets maximum direct attention and supervision from the instructor. Pastoral care and program coordinators who speak Chinese are also present on site to support students.
The Bard community grows and flourishes with you. The Bard community is international, and we love to see our students become true global citizens. Global Citizenship starts here.

Engage–Experience–Explore
Bard College (Beijing Office) offers a range of summer and winter programs in Xiamen, Dali, and Huangshan, among other locations, for high school students who want to gain new skills and experience, learn from international faculty, and develop their academic projects and interests. Past participants view these programs as a crucial stepping stone to their study abroad journey and as the "experience of a lifetime." The program’s topics include Film and Media, Environment Conservation, Humanities and the Arts, and Music Production. Bard’s Summer and Winter Programs balance fun, travel, and learning with class activities, guided field trips, hands-on learning activities, faculty lectures, individual work, and group projects.
