Renewable Energy Fellowship: The Alliance offers a full time fellowship position for those committed to promoting renewable energy and getting involved in renewable energy policy. Applicants must have a college degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities: The Executive Director (ED) is WEC’s chief executive officer, reports to the Board of Directors, and is responsible for the achievement of the organization’s mission and programmatic and financial objectives. Description: The U.S. Embassy in Bangkok is seeking an individual for the position of Project Management Specialist in the U.S. Agency for International Development/ Regional Development Mission for Asia (USAID/RDMA), located at Athenee Tower, Wireless Road, Bangkok.
The Agriculture Specialist is a lead technical advisor to the General Development Office (GDO) as well as to the USAID/RDMA. Working as part of the RDMA Agriculture team, s/he will provide timely and accurate input, advice and technical direction, both written and oral, on issues related to agriculture, food security, science and technology, technology dissemination, and trade in South and Southeast Asia. The Specialist will define constraints and identify and prioritize investment opportunities for RDMA related to Asia regional agriculture and food security. In collaboration with the Agriculture team and other relevant RDMA teams, the Specialist will develop and implement project strategies, and design, procure, and manage performance-based contracts, cooperative agreements, and grants.
Responsibilities: Design, procure, and manage activities in the Regional Agriculture portfolio in Asia. Provide technical expertise to RDMA, Washington, and bilateral missions in the region. The duties include the following:
- Identify and review background work, leading to the planning, design, and preparation of new partnerships and initiatives and other activities under the GDO’s strategic objective. Prepare project/activity design documents, drafts, performance-based statements of work for contracts with local and or expatriate firms or individuals for pre-design technical analysis and define and arrange for technical and/or financial assistance and logistical support from within RDMA, from other missions in the region and from USAID/Washington.
- Develop procurement plans covering goods and services, including a reasonable timetable to put into place the appropriate instrument, and coordinate the procurement process with the contracting office while maintaining ongoing and productive communication.
- Assist the office with organization of technical evaluation committees (TECs). Participate in TECs as requested to ensure that proper evaluation is done in accordance with established evaluation criteria to achieve best value for the U.S. Government. Document and provide the results of evaluations to the contracting and personnel officers.
- Function as the Agreement Officer’s Representatives (AORs)/ Contracting Officer’s Representatives (CORs), or Alternate AOR/COR, or activity manager for selected grants and contracts. Perform inspections/sight visits to gather information about implementation progress, data quality assessment, and provide recommendations to AOR/COR and activity managers on changes to improve performance; guide the implementing partner towards improved performance; review and sign vouchers or recommend approval of the same to GDO staff.
- Prepare the budget and narrative portions of the annual performance report, Operating plans and portfolio reviews, and coordinate with the Program Office and Financial Office to ensure that the budget is sent to USAID/Washington on a timely basis. Refine the budget request per guidelines and instructions from USAID/Washington and RDMA.
- Represent USAID at meetings, conferences, workshops, and other fora. Participate either individually or as a team in events related to the technical focus of the position or the broader development interests of the office.

The ideal Director of Communications will ensure that Solar Cookers International is viewed as the primary source, disseminator, and conduit of information within this diverse global network and constituent base.
Reporting to the Executive Director, and working closely with a senior peer group, the Director of Communications will set and guide the strategy for all communications, website, and public relations messages and collateral to consistently articulate the mission of Solar Cookers International (SCI).
Responsibilities:
– Manage all media contacts–regional, national, and international—to achieve global promotion of solar thermal cooking.
– Develop, implement, and evaluate the annual media plan across the network’s discreet audiences in collaboration with the SCI team and constituents
– Create and implement editorial calendar to help SCI achieve its strategic goals
– Lead the generation of online content that engages audience segments and leads to measurable action. Decide who, where, and when to disseminate

Responsibilities:
- Manage and advance the CEE commercial lighting initiative, including maintaining the relevance of existing bi-national performance specifications, while assessing and exploring new program opportunities (e.g., system lighting design, controls, new product performance specifications)
- Serve as the principal contact for sustaining and advancing the strategic direction of CEE’s commercial lighting initiative
- Facilitate and support regular committee meetings of utility, government, advocate and other stakeholders via teleconference, virtual extranet platform, and in person
- Manage and maintain an online forum for advancing committee work
- Collaborate and cultivate relationships with industry partners including manufacturers, trade associations, and other stakeholders to inform CEE direction and work products
- Oversee management and maintenance of CEE commercial lighting qualifying products lists

- Analyze savings potential and synthesize experiences into recommendations for member consideration and for work planning purposes
- Develop and disseminate market and technology assessments, program guides, program summaries, qualifying products lists, white papers, and explorations. - Monitor and communicate to internal and external stakeholders relevant technology, market, policy, federal minimum standards, and other industry developments that impact lighting efficiency programs
- Survey CEE members about program practices and methods and compile program summaries

Qualifications: To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- A graduate degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, for example, a BA or BS including graduate coursework, honors thesis, or significant applicable employment experience, in a relevant field, such as energy efficiency, engineering, economics, marketing, public policy or environmental studies
- Minimum of two years of full time work experience, preferably related to the lighting or building industry, in an architecture, engineering, marketing, energy efficiency, or regulatory affairs capacity

The Arctic Program Specialist will work closely with the Arctic Program Director to expand Ocean Conservancy’s work on emerging industrial pressures, with a focus on shipping. He or she will join Ocean Conservancy’s team of issue experts, technical consultants and scientists to conduct research and analysis in support of program strategies, develop advocacy materials, and help represent Ocean Conservancy with our coalition partners.
This is a unique mid-level opportunity for a professional looking to deepen his or her understanding of conservation work in a region that is undergoing unprecedented environmental, political, and industrial change. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience working on conservation or environmental policy; experience working in the Arctic and/or on shipping issues strongly preferred. Responsibilities:
- Provide analytical support for Ocean Conservancy’s Arctic team by conducting independent research on emerging pressures on the Arctic and working with external experts and consultants.
