Description
Lead projects across sites to ensure the management and reduction of eco-efficiency and packaging metrics that in turn deliver cost savings.
Responsibilities
Execute initiatives each year that deliver to energy, water, waste, and packaging reduction targets.
– Promote a Green corporate culture.
– May be required to perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
Qualifications
Exercises judgment and takes initiative to utilize a project management methodology to take a project from start to finish and deliver intended results. Ensures budgets, schedules and performance requirements are met.
Requires a coursework in engineering, environmental, chemical or comparable field; or the equivalent knowledge and experience. Project management or Lean Six Sigma training is also preferred. Communication skills and training also a plus.
Prefer LEED and/or Energy Star certification.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant coursework, including the organization / implementation of Global Energy/EHS programs preferred. Demonstrated project success through past experience and education. Demonstrated proficiency with computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheet, and slide presentations require
Intern candidates must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD program.
Graduating students are eligible only if they are returning to school the following semester to pursue the next level degree.
