Description
The Center for Clean Air Policy (CCAP), a renowned leader for more than two decades in the global climate change policy arena, is seeking applications for Transportation & Climate Change Intern. This temporary position is located in CCAP’s Washington, DC offices.
Responsibilities
The internship will focus on transit-oriented development and smart growth in developing countries including:
- Research (best practices, capacity building resources, analytical methodologies, data)
- Quantitative analysis (calculating/modeling travel impacts, GHGs, economics, measurement)
- Policy analysis and writing
Qualifications
- Current graduate student or recent graduate from a program in Transportation, Urban Planning, Economics, Environmental Science, Public Policy or a related field;
- Coursework in transportation planning, quantitative research, economics, energy & environmental policy required;
- Prior experience a plus;
- Excellent research and quantitative skills required;
- Strong oral and written communication skills;
