Description
Environmental Working Group is searching for a college student or recent college graduate for a paid part-time summer/fall internship with the Development team – particularly our online fundraising programs. The ideal candidate would be detail oriented, a strong writer/proofreader and have an interest in online fundraising and organizing for a non-profit.
Responsibilities
:: Assist with management and maintenance of donor files and communication, particularly creation and mailing of donor thank you notes and various data hygiene tasks
:: Assist with launching of blast emails by proofing/testing emails, donation pages and action pages; building tracked URLs and data queries
:: Assist in maintaining trigger emails
:: Assist is developing new donation and action pages
:: Assist in compiling weekly reports
:: Assist with ongoing database management of donors and supporters.
Qualifications
:: Strong writing/proofreading skills
:: Attention to detail
:: Some knowledge of online platforms like Salsa or Convio (not required)
:: An interest in non-profit fundraising and online activism
:: An interest in environmental health or food policy
