Description

The Associate Marketing Manager for Digital Production and Social Media supports The Trust for Public Land’s (TPL) national and regional marketing efforts through the creation and promotion of engaging rich media content for the organization’s website(s), social media channels, and online campaigns. S/he assists with the day-to-day management of marketing efforts to acquire, engage and retain new supporters through social media, online promotions and partnerships, and other digital and mobile applications.

Responsibilities

  • Work with editorial and web team to develop and execute strategies and innovative content to advance The Trust for Public Land’s marketing goals.
  • Create engaging rich media content, including video, for TPL’s website (tpl.org) and social media channels.
  • Research, identify, and/or develop online opportunities to deliver TPL content to targeted and broad audiences alike.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of current practices and upcoming trends in content, social media, and mobile marketing.
  • Manage third-party vendors (e.g. designers and application developers), as applicable.
  • Be an effective, contributing member of a team whose primary goals are to drive new website traffic and increase online donations.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of online digital materials development, production, and execution
  • Basic video production and editing skills; experience posting and managing web videos
  • Demonstrated ability to use social media to build community
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the latest trends in social media, email marketing, and mobile content
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and outputting small files for the web
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priority projects simultaneously and meet established deadlines and deliverables with quick turnarounds
  • HTML/CSS savvy a plus
  • Knowledge of Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro a plus
  • Sense of humor and creative spirit a must
