Call for Proposals — Hudson River Fund Expedited and Research Grants related to Extreme Events

Hudson River Fund Expedited and Research Grants related to Extreme Events
In light of the impending hurricane, the Hudson River Foundation would like to remind potential investigators of its research programs related to unexpected and extreme events that may have a significant bearing on the Hudson River Ecosystem.

As stated in the Foundation’s recently announced Call for Proposals, the Foundation will consider throughout the year—on an expedited basis—proposals for the study of emergency situations affecting the Hudson River, including natural events like Hurricane Sandy.  In addition, the Foundation has targeted research concerning the effects of extreme events on the Hudson River in its 2013 Call for Proposals.

For further information about these and all Foundation grants, please visit the Foundation’s website at www.hudsonriver.org.

In addition, all potential applicants for Expedited Grants should contact Science Director Dr. Dennis Suszkowski at [email protected] before applying. Until the effects of Hurricane Sandy have passed and electricity for all file servers is secure again at the Hudson River Foundation offices, email correspondence should be copied to [email protected] and [email protected].

Applicants will be informed of the Foundation’s response to a request for an Expedited Grant as soon as possible.
