The Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Energy Association (FCHEA) works to advance the research, development, and deployment of fuel cells and hydrogen energy–an indispensable technology in a clean energy present and future. FCHEA works with government, universities, and industry, and in addition to its advocacy, coordinates standards and research on fuel cells and hydrogen energy.
Description
The Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Energy Association (FCHEA) is offering full-time, paid internships beginning in January 2013. FCHEA is the trade association serving the fuel cell and hydrogen energy industries, and our mission is to make fuel cells and hydrogen energy an integral part of the nation’s clean energy portfolio.
As an intern at FCHEA, you’ll be part of a small, hardworking team in a campaign atmosphere, and you will gain hands-on experience in energy, environmental and technology communications, marketing and public policy.
Responsibilities
-Attending Congressional hearings and briefings
-Performing market and industry research -Writing articles, blog posts, and newsletter items -Social media development, strategy and activation -Grass roots outreach -Website development and maintenance
Daily travel to 18th Street and Connecticut Avenue required. Compensation provided.
Qualifications
Interest in public policy, energy policy, environmental science recommended, but not required.
