Global warming, the loss of habitat, and people becoming more disconnected from nature than past generations are converging on a dangerous path for our planet. The work of NWF and our affiliates across the country provides answers to these challenges and will help ensure America’s wildlife legacy continues for future generations.

The region’s largest conservation organization with more than 600,000 members and supporters in eight Northeast states (New York, New Jersey and all of New England). NWF staff are based in New York, Boston and Vermont and work with our affiliates and other organizations on projects in every state in the region.
