Description
The City of Missoula Parks and Recreation Department is seeking an individual to coordinate implementation of the Missoula Urban Area Open Space Plan, Missoula Urban Area Master Plan for Parks and Recreation (MPP), and the Missoula Active Transportation Plan. Coordinate and negotiate all phases of open space, parks and trails acquisition for the greater Missoula area.
Qualifications
Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture, community planning, parks and recreation administration, public administration or closely related field plus two years experience in open space planning, land acquisition, grant writing for acquisition and development, or related field. Prefer education and/or experience in environmental, real estate and land use law. License not required.
