Responsibilities
The New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission (NEIWPCC) is seeking an Environmental Analyst to assist the Director of Water Quality Programs with programs and projects related to Water Quality Standards, Nutrients and Mercury. Candidate will coordinate regional workgroups and projects, and prepare position papers and comment letters. Candidate will assist in the preparation of grant applications for new projects, contracts and final project reports. Candidate will assist the Executive Director, Deputy Director and staff in the general operations of the office in program planning and reporting.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies, natural science, public health, earth science, biology, chemistry, engineering or related field, with three years’ professional experience in any of the fields above. Knowledge and experience with aspects of water quality and watershed management preferred.
