Description
The Renewable Natural Resources Foundation (RNRF) seeks an intern to work with its staff to assist in the development and implementation of programs in conservation and natural resources policy. This position is an exciting opportunity for a student or recent graduate who wishes to work on current national conservation science and policy issues.
Responsibilities
- RNRF’s program intern will assist the Executive Director and Program Director in the following program-related activities:
- Development of material for RNRF’s website
- Maintenance of the subscriber database for the Renewable Resources Journal
- Production of the Renewable Resources Journal including researching article ideas and topics
- Assist with development and implementation of RNRF’s 2013 Congress on Coastal Resiliency
- Assist in planning of RNRF’s Washington Round Table on Public Policy
Qualifications
Interested candidates must have an interest in natural resources, sustainability, and public policy. Computer proficiency is a must. The ideal intern has strong writing skills, pays excellent attention to detail, and is self-motivated and enthusiastic.
