Description
FISHERIES POLICY POSITION
While related education or work experience will be considered, our primary objective is to find someone who would be comfortable, effective and tireless talking with commercial fishermen at the pier or on their boats, talking with Senators and Congressmen in DC, and arguing for positive change in a wide-range of important decision-making venues. They should be comfortable advocating for positive change in often contentious debates.

DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE POSITION
While related education or work experience will be considered, our primary objective is to find someone who would be comfortable, effective and tireless in expanding community awareness and support of the Fishermen’s Alliance. This includes:
·building relationships between the organization and sponsors, donors, members, and volunteers,
·planning and implementing community outreach events, and
·coordinating our membership program and annual giving campaign.
The ideal candidate is an energetic team player with more than 2 years of marketing or project management experience, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and an enthusiasm for fish and fishermen. S/he should be an innovative thinker who is results orientated, has an entrepreneurial attitude, and can attend to both the big picture and the details.
