Description:
We are currently seeking an entry-level Environmental Scientist for our Indianapolis office location.
Responsibilities
Participation in all aspects of environmental consulting within the Environmental Technical Group. Primary duties will include the following:
o Wetland and waterway delineation.
o Permit document preparation.
o GIS mapping.
o Habitat evaluation forms.
o Wetland and waterway mitigation and monitoring reports.
Additional duties will involve participation in the preparation of NEPA documentation (categorical exclusions, environmental assessments and environmental impact statements) for applicable projects within all business markets. Coordination with government agencies, clients and the public will be required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree is required in Environmental Science, Natural Resources, or a related field.
1-3 years of environmental scientist experience is required.
Experience with Microsoft Word & Excel is required.
