Job Description:
Provide biological support for an established natural resources group nationwide, with emphasis on projects in the Southwestern US. Projects will include field work and data collection, report writing, construction monitoring and any role that supports natural resources requirements for HDR projects.
May include one or more of the following basic duties: avian and vegetation surveys; threatened and endangered species habitat screening and wetland identification for linear construction projects; noxious and invasive plant surveys; and environmental monitoring for construction projects.

Candidates must be willing to travel and have the ability to work independently. Essential office skills include being proficient with standard Microsoft Office (e.g. MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and working knowledge of GIS applications. The successful individual will have excellent interpersonal communication, writing, organization, and time management skills.

Qualifications:
Successful candidates will have the following:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in natural resources including experience working outdoors in remote areasA minimum of 2 years of experienceconducting avian surveys in southern CaliforniaBA/BS in biology, ecology, botany or other natural resource related fieldStrong writing skills (sample will be required)Ability to travel for up three weeks at a time
