The Springfield Headquarters is currently seeking applicants for an Environmental Analyst in the Power Production Division.
Responsibilities: As part of the Environmental, Health, and Safety Department, this position will be responsible for technical and regulatory support and analysis for our generation facilities with emphasis on air emissions. This involves monitoring, reporting and analyzing regulations related to air emissions at AECI. Specific responsibilities will include permitting and compliance monitoring under the EPA Clean Air Act with particular attention to Titles I, IV and Title V, tracking and analysis of regulations related to air emissions and climate change, New Source Review (NSR) analysis and a general knowledge of Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS). The position will require participation in plant compliance audits. This position requires overnight travel to regional power plants 20% of the time.
Qualifications: Qualified applicants will have a Bachelors degree in an applied science such as Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Ecology, or equivalent experience. Candidates with emissions monitoring experience are preferred. We are seeking an individual with strong computer skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong statistical/analytical background.
