Our team is currently working to require labeling of genetically engineerd foods sold in New Jersey but we have successfully passed local, county, and statewide legislation to stop fracking, prevent the overuse of antibiotics on factory farms, halt the privatization of water, and a host of other issues. To help bolster public participation in the legislative process we are hiring field organizers in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

Organizers will be responsible for petitioning, fundraising, letter writing and phone call campaigns, and registering volunteers.

Qualifications: We are looking for exceptional candidates with excellent verbal communication skills, a background in environmental, public health, or consumer issues, and a passion for social justice and progressive change. We offer leadership training and advancement opportunities for qualified individuals and ensure that all staff members develop valuable political advocacy skills.
