Description: The Cadmus Group seeks an Intern for the summer of 2015 to work on our program evaluation projects. Our findings frequently inform a variety of technical, policy, and other decisions that have a real impact on the energy industry. We are looking for a motivated, creative thinker to become part of a committed team of engineers, economists, natural resources specialists, and policy experts working to solve some of our nation’s most pressing energy and resource challenges.
Responsibilities:
– Work independently or with supervision to support ongoing, or new, projects, ensuring consistency and quality of project methods. Typical projects might include conducting surveys, interviews, and some quantitative analyses.
– Document findings visually and/or verbally for memos and reports to clients and/or internal project teams.
Qualifications:
– Excellent writing, communication, and critical thinking skills
– Proficient with MS Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
– Some domestic travel may be required, therefore applicants must be over 18 years of age
– Familiarity with energy related terminology including kW and kWh
Preferred
– Experience with energy policy, regulations, and applications
– Availability to work up to 40 hours per week during the summer, excluding planned vacations
