12 Week Expense Paid Internship – Summer 2011

Gain “real world” expertise in conservation science and administration through research, resource management and communications projects

The Student Conservation Association (SCA) had partnered with the US Fish and Wildlife Service to provide over 60 internships for ethically and culturally diverse college students. They take place in US Fish and Wildlife Refuges located in the northeast, southeast and upper midwest. The SCA is the nation’s leading provider of expense-paid internships. Founded in 1957, SCA members protect and restore public lands across the country.

  • $400 per week living allowance

Eligibility:

  • US citizen
  • Full time student 2011-12
  • Available June 1 to August 24, 2011

Available Postitions:

Specific positions for 2011 are available upon request. The focus is on biology, resource management, and visitor services.
