Chicago Internship opportunity from an alum

If you are interested in interning in the Chicago area, alumna Kate Galbraith ’10 recently starting working for Center for Neighborhood Technology (CNT) again, where she did her CEP internship. She mentioned that there would be a possibility of them taking on another BCEP intern, so please contact Kate (or her boss) if you would like more information.

Here is what Kate has to say….
I am back at the Center for Neighborhood Technology, working on Environmental Justice and Transportation projects.  You can also feel free to pass my name and contact info, and my boss’s (Jacky Grimshaw, [email protected], 773-269-4033) along to any future students who are interested in intermships in the Chicago area.  I know from experience that Chicago is not an area that many BCEPers are interested in, but if you happen to get one, I am more than happy to be an alumni contact.
I know that most of the internships at CNT are unpaid, it is a fairly informal atmosphere of 50-100 people, so a smaller office.  Also, if someone were to be interested, I would recommend checking out the website to see which of the “areas”-Climate, Energy, Water, or Transportation & Community Development- interests them most, so that they could contact the relevant person. I’m not sure if we are at capacity for summer interns, but I will ask and get back to you! People are always welcome to email me for info as well.
Thanks,
Kate
