Diagrams, Networks and Ecologies: Designing Environmental and Urban Studies

This presentation will explore the potential of the program on Environmental and Urban Studies at Bard as a platform for rethinking environmentalist scholarship and practice.

The focus will be on the importance the network both as an object of study – an ecology, an infrastructure, or a climate model – and as a method for organizing a Liberal Arts program engaged in the cultural, political, and scientific aspects of our current environmental problems.
