Description
Teach and maintain environmental education classes in the beautiful southern Appalachians during residential programs, ages 7-16. Adventure programs, high ropes with kid and adult groups, and some weekends required. Season runs August 26 – November 19, 2011, though these dates may change based on group bookings. Committed, energetic, community-oriented individuals. BS/BA degree required. Interested in staff with a wide variety of educational and personal backgrounds. Extensive high ropes, teambuilding and local ecology training provided as well as First Aid and CPR. Applicant should be dynamic, with a sense of humor and have a sincere interest in working with kids of all ages and learning about the natural world.
