Description
The Alliance for Green Heat has an opening for its Renewable Energy Research Fellowship position. Applicants must have a college degree or equivalent experience. This position comes with a stipend of $400 per month.
The Fellowship is full time for a minimum of 3 months and involves intensive research, analysis and writing on residential renewable energy with a focus on biomass heating. The Fellowship will also involve policy work including preparing for and attending meetings and briefings with government officials at the state and federal level. The Fellow will also prepare a monthly newsletter and engage in social networking. Essential to this work is a passion for renewable energy and helping low-income families to affordably heat their homes. Good verbal and written communication skills are essential.
