Hours and Compensation: full time, $47,336 to $59,170 annually. Additionally, benefits include; health, life, dental, paid leave,
optional vision and a state matched retirement fund. Total benefits
package equals $19,230.

Position Description
The primary purpose of this position is to develop total maximum
daily loads (TMDLs) that, when implemented, will result in attaining
and maintaining water quality standards. Completed TMDLs will be
incorporated into water quality planning documents that meet all
State and Federal TMDL requirements.
Qualifications for this position include a Bachelors Degree in
environmental science, environmental engineering field, aquatic
biology, geology, earth science, limnology, hydrology, natural
resource management or a closely related field and 5 or more years of
relevant work experience in the field of aquatic science, hydrologic
applications, water quality planning, and/or water pollution
prevention or control (point and nonpoint source). Experience in
water resource project management, project implementation, public
relations and a well-rounded experience and knowledge base in the
water resource management disciplines is desired. A Masters degree in
a relevant field with emphasis on water quality or hydrology may be
substituted for up to 1 year experience. A PhD in a relevant field
(with a relevant Masters) with emphasis on water quality or
hydrology may be substituted for up to 2 years of experience.
Alternative combinations of education and experience may be
considered.
