Environmental Performance and Climate Change Research Opportunity with Marie Venner
Marie Venner, who has conducted over 30 studies for the National Academies, mainly on environmental performance, interagency coordination, and process improvement, is looking for a graduate student to work with on current and upcoming projects. Other interests include climate change adaptation and sustainability planning; she believes if infrastructure agencies (engineers and planners) did a better job of estimating the costs of climate change, it would be a crucial part of the national discussion on getting off of fossil fuels. Much work is for state transportation agencies, which have a cooperative research program.
