Summary

The intern will be assigned to a project within the Climate and Energy program which is developing renewable energy strategies for Central America. Responsibilities will include: researching and compiling information on renewable energy in Central America; drafting and editing material for reports; authoring occasional articles for the Worldwatch blog ReVolt; and providing additional administrative support to team as required.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Outstanding writing and communication skills
  • Strong academic and/or work background in energy policy and/or technologies
  • Ability to self-manage and stay organized while maintaining multiple assignments and deadlines
  • Demonstrated experience in and passion for climate and energy issues—and for the importance of accurate information and analysis to guide environmental decision-making
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex sets of data
  • Proficiency or fluency in Spanish
  • Sense of humor, attention to detail, and creativity
