Summary
The intern will be assigned to a project within the Climate and Energy program which is developing renewable energy strategies for Central America. Responsibilities will include: researching and compiling information on renewable energy in Central America; drafting and editing material for reports; authoring occasional articles for the Worldwatch blog ReVolt; and providing additional administrative support to team as required.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Outstanding writing and communication skills
- Strong academic and/or work background in energy policy and/or technologies
- Ability to self-manage and stay organized while maintaining multiple assignments and deadlines
- Demonstrated experience in and passion for climate and energy issues—and for the importance of accurate information and analysis to guide environmental decision-making
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex sets of data
- Proficiency or fluency in Spanish
- Sense of humor, attention to detail, and creativity
