Description:

Cardno ENTRIX is seeking an entry level Cultural Resource Specialist to help grow our cultural resource group and to work with a multidisciplinary team of accomplished biologists, hydrologists, geologists, engineers and planners on a variety of projects in California and the western United States.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Record searches and other archival research
* Pedestrian surface survey
* Excavation
* Site recording and completion of site reports
* Assisting with completion of reports

Qualifications/Skills:

Requirements Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in archaeology or cultural resources management
* A minimum of three years experience in cultural resources management
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
* Ability to travel frequently to field sites and other Cardno ENTRIX office locations on the West Coast
* Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship

Desired Qualifications:

* Relevant professional experience in survey, site recording, excavation and report writing
* ArcGIS
* Ability to work well independently and with a diverse, multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced, team oriented work environment
* Solid time management skills
* Positive and energetic attitude
* Self motivated; strong initiative
* Detail oriented; resourceful
