Organization/Position Overview:
RETTEW, an ENR Top 500 Design Firm, is seeking an experienced manager to serve as Director of Natural Sciences. In addition to having a strong technical background, the Director is responsible for operations of the Natural Sciences Services Division, as well as assisting with the development and implementation of a strategic plan, and maintaining an active marketing role with an emphasis on business development and growth.
Qualifications/Skills:
Ideal candidates will possess the following attributes:
oThrough knowledge of Natural Science discipline. Areas of Natural Sciences include Wetland Services, Endangered and Threatened Species, Terrestrial Ecology, Aquatic Biology, Stream Restoration, and Permitting.
oStrong operational background with experience directing daily operations, with an emphasis on developing, coaching, and mentoring Project Managers and other staff members.
oHas experience with analyzing business and market place trends and translate into directing setting and change for the Division.
Qualified applicants must have a minimum of 15 years of experience with at least 5 years in operations. Must have a business mindset with excellent communication skills. The individual must be able to demonstrate a successful track record in initiating and managing growth and have great leadership skills.
