“Sasha Phyars-Burgess’s
Untitled features essays, poems and stunning photographs that delve into the black experience and the true meaning of ‘home,’” writes Elena Goodinson in the
Guardian. Phyars-Burgess explains: “I am trying to make sense of a place that is not responsible for my upbringing but is wholly responsible for my existence. The place that leaks into my daily references and confuses me about what I call home. I do not always understand this place, though I long to be a part of it.” The volume includes a conversation between Phyars-Burgess and fellow artists Juliana Huxtable ’10 and Carolyn Lazard ’10.
