Biography: Anna Dolan (M.F.A., playwriting, Yale University; M.F.A., directing, University of Massachusetts, Amherst) teaches Playwriting in the Creative Writing Program and the English Department at Central Connecticut State University. She also teaches in the Young Writers' Workshop at Fir Acres and Bard College at Simon's Rock. She is a playwright and has written (and had produced) over 30 plays. She has recently written a recitation/adaptation of Jim Thompson's "The Killer Inside Me" for Maloney Theater in New Britain Connecticut, and an adaptation of "Men in the Sun" for the Freedom Theater of Jenin in Palestine. She received a grant from the Secretariat of the Pacific Community to write and direct two plays for the Sokhes Theater of Pohnpei in Micronesia-FSM, where she taught at the College of Micronesia-FSM for two years.Contact:
