Biography: Kristin Prevallet (B.A., University of Colorado, Boulder; M.A., University of Buffalo) Poet, performer, and author of literary essays and cultural criticism. Author, I, Afterlife: Essay in Mourning Time (Essay Press, 2007) and Everywhere Here and in Brooklyn (Belladonna Collaborative, 2012). Co-editor, with Tonya Foster, of Third Mind: Creative Writing Through Visual Art and A Helen Adam Reader (National Poetry Foundation, 2007). Lives in Westchester and directs the Center for Mindbody Studies, with a private hypnotherapy practice in Manhattan.
