Marie Regan

Biography: Marie Regan (B.S.F.S Georgetown University, M.F.A. Columbia University) is a film/video maker and screenwriter whose award winning short film and video work has screened at film festivals around the world, including: the Sao Paulo International Short Film Festival, Zinebi International Festival of Documentary and Short Film of Bilbao and the American Cinematheque/Los Angeles and shown on television in France, Japan, and in the United States. She has led discussions on film and video practice for BAM and the 92Y Tribeca and has lectured on experimental narrative practice at the Universite Libre de Bruxelles, Belgium. She is Assistant Professor of Film Studies at the American University of Paris, and has previously served on the faculty of Columbia University, Barnard College and Bard College. She has received fellowships and honors from the MacDowell Colony for the Arts, VCCA and the Milos Forman Fund among others and is past president of the New York Film/Video Council.Contact:
