Rafeeq Hasan

Biography: Rafeeq Hasan (B.A., Ph.D., University of Chicago) recently finished his Ph.D. in Philosophy at the University of Chicago. His dissertation, Obligation and Happiness in Rousseau, examined the interdependence of the ideals of individual autonomy and collective flourishing in Rousseau's account of moral and political legitimacy. Next year he will begin a position as College Assistant Professor in the Humanities (Harper and Schmidt Fellow) at the University of Chicago.
