Biography: B.A., Pennsylvania State University; M.A., Ph.D., University of Michigan. Research targets the ways that young children think about the minds of others, how they reason about unseeable behaviors such as thoughts, beliefs, and desires, and how they learn to distinguish self from other (in terms of perspective-taking, memory, and imitation). Teaches courses in typical child development, as well as autism and non-human primate cognition. At Bard since 2007.Interests:

- Teaching Interests: Developmental Psychology; Child Development; Preschooler Thinking; Comparative Cognition; Theory of Mind
