Biography: B.A., Oberlin College; M.A., University of Buffalo; Ph.D., University of Buffalo (pending). Works across Film & Media Studies, History of the Avant Garde, Pragmatism and Continental Philosophy, Critical Theory, 19th & 20th century American Literature, Modernist Studies, Ethics, Poetics. His poems and essay have appeared in numerous publications including Aufgabe, P-Queue, 2nd Avenue Poetry, O Books, MIRAGE, Gam, Crayon, The Fanzine, Kenning, Cuneiform Press and Atticus/Finch Press. He was a co-organizer of Weds. @ 4 + Series at the University of Buffalo and currently curates Peace On A events series in New York City. He also edits Wild Horses of Fire weblog and is a lecturer at NYU. His recent research interests include Middle Eastern mystical trends & intersections between Conceptual Art and environmental politics.Contact:
