Bard’s 2024 Democracy Teach-In Open Classes

The 2024 Democracy Teach-In is an initiative designed to spark conversions about democracy in classrooms across Bard College. This November 5th, Election Day in the United States, Election@Bard and the Center for Civic Engagement are proud to be working with professors to facilitate discussions about the intersections between democracy and many different academic fields.
 
From political studies, to the arts, to the sciences, every academic discipline engages with government and politics. In-classroom discussions about how an academic discipline is affected by government and politics will help students better understand their personal connection to elections and democracy.

So far, five different academic programs are represented in the 2024 Democracy Teach-In, including Politics, Philosophy, Physics, Economics, and French.
