Aaron Voloj Dessauer to speak at BGIA on "Civil Liberties in the Age of the Preventive State"
Aaron Voloj Dessauer is a Lecturer in Law at Yale Law School. Prior to that, he served as a legal advisor to the Permanent Mission of Germany to the United Nations, as a research assistant to Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz, and as a Lecturer at Yale College. He also served as an Adjunct Professor in law and philosophy at the University of Münster in Germany, where he taught courses on First Amendment Law, Laws of War, and Jewish Law. The recipient of numerous academic awards and fellowships, Voloj Dessauer was a research fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law, at Harvard University, and the Yale Center for Law and Philosophy. Previously, Voloj Dessauer was an Associate at the New York law firm Sullivan & Cromwell LLP.
