Intermedialidad & Game Studies en la narrativa de Roberto Bolaño

Spanish Studies Presents

Intermedialidad & Game Studies en la narrativa de Roberto Bolaño

Nibaldo Acero, Researcher Department of Artes Integradas, Universidad de Playa Ancha, Chile
Tuesday, May 7, 2024
Hegeman 201
5:00 pm – 6:30 pm EDT/GMT-4

This lecture aims to discuss the concept of “games” in the narrative work of Roberto Bolaño in order to examine how a sprit of play has impacted his general aesthetic proposals. Through this approach, it will be possible to explore how intermediality and game studies come to bear on Bolaño and other contemporary authors. In the final analysis, beyond being active readers, what would it mean to read Bolaño as a gamer?
