12:00–1:00 pm – Academic Talk: Jeff Jergens, professor of anthropology at Bard College, will speak on the language of asylum.
1:00–2:00 pm – Student Panel Section: Students with a variety of experiences with the immigration system will speak about their experience at Bard and in the United States.
2:00–2:30 pm – Lunch: Panera Catering
2:30–3:30 pm – Legal Section: Victor Cueva, from Worker Justice Center in Kingston, will speak on his experience as an immigration lawyer in the Hudson Valley.
3:30–4:30 pm – Activism Section: Bryan MacCormack, who went viral earlier this year for a filmed confrontation he had with ICE, will talk about his role at the Columbia Sanctuary Fund and the Greenlight Campaign.
4:30–5:00 pm – Roundtable conversation on themes of the day, moderated by Mariel Fiori of La Voz
