Bard MAT students carry out their studies on Bard College's campus in Annandale-on-Hudson, NY and engage in field experiences in nearby partner schools in the Hudson Valley, working with experienced teachers who are active members of the MAT educational community.

Our Location

Visiting Campus

Prospective students are invited and encouraged to set up a campus visit. It is a great chance to meet faculty and current MAT graduate students as well as explore our beautiful campus. Prospective students can go on a campus tour, sit in on a class, and meet one-on-one with faculty, students, and our admission director. We are also happy to set up virtual visits. Residence Life

On-Campus Housing

There is very limited on-campus housing available for graduate students. In addition to the cost of housing, all on-campus resident graduate students are required to be on a meal plan. If you are interested in living on campus, email us for more information.
Off-Campus Housing

Off-campus housing is a great option for graduate students. A variety of houses and apartments can be found near the Bard College campus. In general, the local area, while relatively close to several major cities, offers a high quality of life with a more affordable cost of living than many metropolitan and other college areas.
