“Bard’s mishmash of architecture makes it truly one of a kind. Wander between Blithewood Manor’s walled Italian gardens, the Greek Revival-style Hoffman Memorial Library, and Frank Gehry’s titanium-clad, contemporary Fisher Center for the Performing Arts. The intentional hodgepodge (the library is actually three styles: Greek Revival, postmodern, and brutalist) always surprises.”
