Leading a Rebellion for Entrepreneurial Thinking, Learning
Bard Students Will Practice Entrepreneurial Thinking with Peers in Global University Network Using New RebelBase Platform
This fall, students in the Open Society University Network, from Bard to Bishkek, will use the platform RebelBase to practice entrepreneurial thinking and problem solving. RebelBase will connect social enterprise cohorts at Bard with students at universities in Dhaka, Bishkek, Mataró, and Jerusalem. Bard MBA Entrepreneurship Professor Alejandro Crawford is the cofounder and CEO of RebelBase, which teaches entrepreneurial thinking as a form of basic literacy, addressing one of the most critical skills gaps of 21st-century education. “Schools use powerful Learning Management Systems to teach students how others have solved problems in the past, but fail broadly at experiential learning,” says Professor Crawford. RebelBase is designed to fix that. Crawford calls it, “The first Innovation Learning System (ILS). It guides users as they learn to attack broken systems with bold new experiments and draws energy to those experiments, the way entrepreneurs do.” (Forbes)Post Date: 08-13-2020
