Fisher Center Presents
20th Anniversary Concert and Celebration
5:00 pm – 6:00 pm EDT/GMT-4
Celebrate the culmination of our 20th Anniversary with a quintessential Fisher Center concert featuring repertoire and artists from classical to contemporary.
The celebratory evening begins with The Orchestra Now, led by Leon Botstein, in a rare performance of Béla Bartók’s The Wooden Prince. Consummate vocalist and Spiegeltent favorite Ms. Lisa Fischer—known as the soulful center of the Oscar-winning documentary Twenty Feet from Stardom, and for her work with renowned artists like Sting, Tina Turner, and the Rolling Stones—then makes her Sosnoff stage debut. Ms Lisa Fischer is accompanied by Grand Baton and The Orchestra Now conducted by James Bagwell, promising an unforgettable and dynamic mix of blues, jazz, classical, and progressive rock.
