Join this event's co-sponsors, the Center for Civic Engagement and the Computer Science Program, to hear Ashley Gavin give a talk about diversity in STEM fields.Ashley Gavin is the Curriculum Director of All Star Code, a non-profit organization helping to get more young men of color into the tech sector. Prior to her work at All Star Code Ashley spent 2 years working as a software engineer at MIT Lincoln Labs, and then went on to serve as the founding curriculum director of Girls Who Code. She continues to teach computer science as an adjunct faculty at Wesleyan University in Connecticut. She did her undergraduate degree at Bryn Mawr College where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with honors in Computer Science.
