This year's theme, for the three-day special event held every two years, is "Churches and Cathedrals in Proust." Many of thepresentations take place in the magnificent Grand Hotel, where Proust lived and wrote during the summers when he was creating "In Search of Lost Time." There are numerous lectures and visits (in French). And an outstanding lineup of musicians, playing music relating to Proust and his works. Among the composers are Wagner, Mozart, Saint-Saens, Massenet, Beethoven, Lili Boulanger, and Reynaldo Hahn.Ticket prices vary; see link below.
