B.F.A., M.F.A., New York University. Novels: Leaving Rock Harbor (Scribner, 2010); Capture the Flag (Simon and Schuster, 1999). Memoir: Chautauqua Summer (Harcourt Brace, 1993). Screenplay: Capture the Flag (with Lisanne Skyler); also author of teleplays and nationally produced radio dramas, features and reviews for the New York Times Magazine and New York Times Book Review, and other national publications. Faculty, Workshop in Language and Thinking. At Bard since 2004.
