Specialized Degree Programs
In addition to the bachelor of arts degree, Bard College offers two five-year, dual-degree undergraduate programs. The Program in Economics and Finance offers a BS degree in economics and finance and a bachelor of arts degree in another field in the liberal arts or sciences other than economics. The Bard College Conservatory of Music offers a BM and a BA in another field in the liberal arts or sciences other than music.
An International BA and preprofessional undergraduate and dual-degree options are also available. Bard students may pursue 3+2 and 4+1 dual-degree options including BA/MS programs in economic theory and policy, engineering, environmental policy, climate science and policy, and forestry; BA/MA programs in decorative arts, design history, and material culture, and economic theory and policy; and a BA/MAT program. Bard and its affiliates offer the following graduate degrees: MA, MPhil, and PhD in decorative arts, design history, and material culture; MA in curatorial studies; MBA in sustainability; MS in environmental policy and in climate science and policy; MEd in environmental education; MS and MA in economic theory and policy; MAT; MFA; MM; and an Advanced Certificate in Inequality Analysis.
