Cruger Hall Amenities

  • Laundry

    Laundry

Located on the first floor, Cruger Hall Laundry room shares three washers and three dryers.  The laundry room also features a folding table.  During the academic year, residents utilize coinless laundry as the averaged cost of laundry is factored in the cost of living on campus.  This allows residents to run as many loads as they need without overloading the machines or incurring more cost.
  • Parking

    Parking

Cruger Hall has a small parking lot located directly in front of the building where residents can park.  As this lot tends to fill up, we ask students who use their car less frequently to park in the larger Robbins House lot.
  • Bathrooms

    Bathrooms

Cruger Hall features all Single-User bathrooms.  With 7 bathrooms on each floor, each bathroom features a sink, toilet, and bathtub.
  • Climate Control

    Climate Control

Cruger Hall features geothermal heating & cooling which is adjusted in room.  Students have the ability to adjust fan speed as well as shift temperature up or down based on if the building is reciving hot or cold supply.
  • Bedroom Flooring

    Bedroom Flooring

As seen in many commercial settings, Vinyl Composite Tile (VCT) is throughout Cruger Hall.  All bedrooms have either a mint & beige or a peach & beige checkered floor.
  • Room Security

    Room Security

    To enter the building:
You will utilize your Bard ID Card on the proximity sensor next to the front door.

    To enter your room:
Upon move-in you will be issued a brass key to your room door.  Note, residents are not permitted to duplicate any keys issued by the college.

    Locked Out?
If you are locked out, call security at 845.758.7460 for assistance 24/7.  Please note, there is a fine associated with being locked out of your room.   If you loose your brass key or ID card, Buildings & Grounds will cut you a new key or print a new ID card for you.  There is a cost associated with this, connect with B&G for the most up to date costs.

What's Inside a Cruger Hall Room?

All furniture provided by the college must stay within the room throughout the year. Therefore, we do not offer on-campus storage for these or any items. Creativity with how you layout the room is encouraged, with safety first, of course.
